News for the greater Vancouver industrial markets is provided by our friends at Colliers International.  Absorption in the third quarter was a steady 540,000 SF.  Rising prices and stagnant lease rates turn to lower cap rates in this segment.    Users continue to outbid investors and developers for all types of industrial property except for large bulk and logistic spaces.   Owners of industrial real estate consider their investments a 'hold' with strong demand and decreasing supply as our Vancouver populations grow.  Due to strong demand from smaller tenants, landlords are subdividing their properties to accommodate this popular segment of the market.
