Re: PTT for non-residents with a work permit
Good afternoon everyone,
In yet another announcement regarding the Property Transfer Tax, the provincial government has announced that they will lift the foreign buyer's tax on people who have work permits.
Unfortunately, there are no details on this update. We do not know when it will begin, if it is retroactive to when the tax was implemented, or the criteria for eligibility.
Stay tuned for further details. With the election soon upon us, who knows what other surprises will be in store.
