Construction Intentions Up in April

Construction intentions in B.C. rose 15.2% to $856 million in April, year over year, according to Statistics Canada numbers released today.
The province saw a 54.8% rise in non-residential construction intentions for the month and a 2.4% drop in residential construction intentions.
For the same period, the value of Vancouver and Victoria building permits increased by 15.2% and 2.2%, respectively.
